Mrs. Ballew provides bilingual (Spanish) therapeutic services in a compassionate and supportive environment for women, children and couples while helping them through emotional and behavioral challenges. She is experienced in helping women adjust to the challenges of motherhood, address emotional issues associated with depression, self-esteem, grief and loss, and trauma.

Mrs. Ballew is also experienced with children issues including defiance, anger, ADHD, tantrums, sexualized or aggressive behavior, self-injury or life transitions. Her goal is to reduce the risk of harm and develop alternatives ways to resolve conflict by encouraging supportive and strong family connections through the use of effective communication and healthy problem-solving skills. Mrs. Ballew hopes to help parents and their children identify and cope with life transitions. She also works with couples and is dedicated to helping couples rebuild and strengthen their relationship and commitments to one another using The Gottman Method. Her goal is to assist couples in gaining a better understanding of the needs of each partner and to teach couples how to manage current and future challenges in order to have greater relationship satisfaction.

Mrs. Ballew is currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMF79127), under the supervision of Bobbie Schorr, PsyD., LMFT. She currently accepts only self-pay clients at this time and does offer a sliding scale rate.
